Relevant Working Experience:
September 2017 to date International Child Institute National Advisor on ECD Technical oversight and initiated the implementation of the alternative care programmer in these countries; ensured that children at the risk or have lost parental care have access to quality alternative care and protection. Over all management and reporting on the grant, engagement of implementing countries, governments, stakeholders at regional advocacy for policy makers, coordination of regional learning meeting and conferences. Supported the development of the phase two proposal that has been approved for implementation in the next four years. In addition, I supported the documentation of best practices in during the program, shared learning and building strategic partnership with various stakeholders like, Save the Children, Support countries in undertaking Child Care Reforms given the UN guidelines on alternative care. We have attached more donor countries like Germany, Netherland, Norway, Canada, New Zealand, and Finland to invest in our framework for quality alternative care and protection.
April 2017 National Representative for World Forum Foundation for Rwanda on Early childhood development education on Systems Strengthening, to ensure the sustainability of day care centers in community and family level.
This has resulted into reintegration of children with the families, family strengthening through education support, child protection and safeguarding and provision of income generating activities. Conducted research that generated evidence for policy and programming on alternative care.I also managed the implementation, reporting (financial and narrative) to the donor and steered the entire consortium to ensure the delivery of the project activities in a timely manner. I built capacity of partners to innovate alternative care, such that Child Care Institutions diversify the care practices for children under institutional care including care for children with disabilities, promotion of biological visits and active engagement of government to implement the

Established partnership to ensured that, these countries adhered to the financial reporting according to Children International global requirement and respective donor, orienting countries on the procedure of the textbook donation program, in addition to ensuring that the right beneficiaries are reached out and the program is well aligned with the government priorities and the organization programmer framework and strategy. I executed this project effectively in partnership with Government ministries of donating cows to ECDs in Gicumbi district, Nyamata, Bugesera, Rwamagana preschools known as ECDs This resulted in providing milk to Children in ECD in those centers to reduce stunting in poor children in promotion of good health as its in five pillars of ECDs
Key Responsibility: Responsible for all aspects related to the country office activities i.e. program development, planning, implementation and evaluation, to ensure the attainment measurable program impact on sponsored children and their communities. This included the implementation of community literacy and finance literacy programs, Early Childhood Development, advocacy, resource mobilization, budget reviews and over all supervision of the program. Established partnership with local governments, government ministries and development partners in Uganda, managed and established the country office local board. I led the strategic implementation of program activities that ranged from gift in kind donation, literacy, child sponsorship, wheel chair distribution and rehabilitation of children with disabilities, I developed the national program profiles reached out in partnership with Books International where we donated 500 copies of books to them ECDs centers to implement reading initiative activities including the children’s reading tents and provided on site supervision and mentorship. This resulted into increased literacy promotions amongst public libraries, establishment of over 20 community libraries and strengthened the work relationship
I was responsible for over 800 student sponsorships as well I was able to transform the ECDs in rural communities, I supported the continuous user education, assessment, local materials making for Playing in ECD centers as well positive parenting workshops. I significantly contributed to the development of the playing materials collection, also oversaw the scale up and introduction of ICT application ECD centers in the library and secured computers. Represented library staff in the faculty board meeting and greatly advocated and lobbied for the integration of the library services across the faculty
activities like Art exhibitions, art gallery and recommended abstract writing on the art piece for easy interpretation of artworks.
2018 Information trainee, Facilitated the children’s reading tent during the book week festival on peace education and culture of peace in Rwanda supported donated by Books International New Zealand.
2014: Training of trainers the technical working group to ensure the finalization of the promise renewed document, ensured the collection of data for the different child health programs for accurate and quality development of the plan. Coordinated the different stakeholders to ensure the dissemination at San Francisco
. Development of the national implementation framework for Community Case Management of the Childhood Strategy including the training materials for community health workers and sick child job aid for VHTs.
