Masud is an IT entrepreneur, Director of a technical institute and Country Director of an Austria based Human Resource and Organisation Development consultancy firm.
He has two master degrees to his credit – one in Public Affairs specializing in International Economic Relations from University of Dhaka and the other in English [Literature and Language Teaching] from the University of Rajshahi.
Masud has twenty years of professional career in diverse fields and sectors ranging from teaching English to tertiary and undergraduate students at different colleges in Bangladesh, to development work at NGOs, research for think-tank, training to US Peace Corps volunteers, Public Relations and Project Management for NGOs and trade bodies, technical writing for information technology company, communication, networking, marketing and customer relations.
He has successfully run and implemented social development and economic research projects. He has published research papers on Increasing Migrant Remittances in Bangladesh, conducted studies on IT Enabled Services business in Bangladesh as part of his masters in International Economic Relations. He has successfully organized international trade fairs and managed media coverage being engaged in promoting Information Technology business.
His interest ranges from working in the fields of economic and social development, poverty reduction and employment generation through industrial development and technology transfer.
