Marisol Bohorquez Godoy
COLOMBIA

She was born in Santa Maria, Huila, Colombia, in 1982. She studied Business Administration at the  Colombian University of the South , Industrial Engineering at the UNAD and Specialization in Management of Occupational Health in the University Foundation of the Andean Area. She  has participated in literary competitions organized from Spain and micro stories have been published by Editorial Letters with Art in anthologies: "Fire, air, water and soil" and "The sea and its people." The first book The solitude of mirrors. She currently writes poems and exercises her profession as an industrial engineer.

 Ascend  from the underworld 
¡Oh queen, Zeus´s daughter!
turn back to your mother´s womb
Return to mortals 
and  Demeter will  make fruits to sprout from the  sterile ground
He will bring a new Spring with life  and poetry
to leave the lament for your  kidnapping hour

We will celebrate your return with dance and singing 
will raise altars on behalf of the goddess who gave you life
The kykeon prepare our bodies
and extend in exalted mysteries the spirit
able to transcend the realms of death.

MODESTY

Just look at you...
and more eternal than a rock
inhabit your silence
-unspeakable pose-
NIGHT

Everything has stopped:
the hours of sleeping men,
the wings of birds nest found
and I saw sunshine from behind the evening.

mysterious shadows begin their dance,
Night celebration,
mourning mirror,
which denies the existence.
WEATHER

The seconds,
as fired arrow,
They leave deep footprints in their wake.
Dark abysses open
and we plunge to the bottom
where it is not possible to return,
even the clock would stop in its cage
its accelerated pace;
They are fleeting demons ...
that the rhythm of music
bleed life.

MUSIC

When silence seems to consume all ...
something inside me keeps flowing.
