Bobichand Rajkumar Bobichand holds a Masters Degree in Applied Conflict Transformation Studies from Pannasastra University of Cambodia (PUC). He did action research (on Ethnic Conflicts) in Manipur: Exploring the ways of influencing ethnic armed group leaders and civil society leaders and bringing change in their attitude and behaviour) for his master’s thesis. He is presently serving as Honorary Director of Change and Peacebuilding Action (CPA), a not-for-profit voluntary research and training organisation based in India’s Northeast State of Manipur. He conducts capacity building trainings, workshops and action researches for conflict transformation and peacebuilding, and conflict analysis. He started his career as a journalist in 1991 but finally became a human rights activist turned peacebuilding practitioner, trainer and researcher. He is deeply committed to transforming conflicts and building positive peace in India’s Northeast, particularly Manipur. He has been working in India’s Northeast and South and South-East Asia as a peacebuilding practitioner, trainer and researcher for many years. He is also Executive Editor of FPSJ Review of Arts & Politics (www.fpsjreview.in).
