In dialogue with my wife she asked me what is peace? Responding to her, I told her that it is a state of calm and conscience; It is walking the streets with your head held high, in the assurance that no one will point you out the accusing finger of censorship.
It is to be able to sleep with the tranquillity of the innocence of a child, with the blessing of our merciful God, after a day of apostolate and honest work and duty accomplished.
It is to get up at the dawn of a new caressed dawn with the sea breeze, observe the leaves of erect trees swaying in the wind, or the rhythmic chirping of birds flying through the air looking at the blue sky of our beloved homeland.
Then, interested, I resorted to other sources, which expanded that concept, such as the absence of conflicts, whether of a political nature, social or economic, among others; what is peace is the fruit of justice? At what point? Of moral crisis in almost every aspect
of our daily life, where the news highlights the anti-values:
Criminality, hitmen, kidnappings, corruption, pornography, drug addiction, terrorism, etc. in which authorities from different spheres of power and human behaviour are involved.
I wanted to enter another field, which t is inseparable like love and justice, that through love, justice is transformed into fraternity and the distribution of goods becomes communion
Marco Tulio Cicero, the famous Roman writer, orator and politician (106 AC 43AC), said that The purpose of justice is to give each one what is due; that is to say, that each country, region, province or district, has the rulers they deserve
M. Bartra, states that the Jewish prophets demanded the construction of the Shalom word that we commonly translate as Peace, and that in the biblical sense means full and prosperous security, the fruit of justice.
So what is justice? Justice is said to depend on the values of a society and the individual beliefs of a person.
Herman Hesse: If we are fair, our world will be fair.
A.Malraux To judge you have to understand;
Mother Teresa of Calcutta broadens the concept that forgiveness is an essential condition of love, it is a condition and at the same time a fruit, because without love there is no forgiveness
Justice is a human aspiration, it is respect for rights of others, let us learn to sow peace?
A Chinese proverb says if you want peace to reign in world you must have peace in your home and for peace to reign in your home, you must first live it in your heart
D. Dagorne Peace comes from childhood, programming in the heart the options that ensure respect, understanding, solidarity, justice, fraternity, forgiveness, which I incorporate as LOVE is an essential part of our lives.
A. Pope says: God, who is love, is also Forgiveness. Sin is human, forgiving is divine. The Bible commands us to follow peace with everyone, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. He who does not love has not known God; because God is love.
The International Forum for a Literature and Culture of Peace (IFLAC) operates out of the spirit of love for humanity and the establishment of peace and harmony between people and nations.
IFLAC increases all aspects of deep inner values: love, kindness and understanding, by developing a global culture and literature of peace; being its world leaders, Drs. Ada Aharoni and Ernesto Kahan; and in IFLAC Latin America Drs. María Cristina Azcona and Susana Roberts.
María Cristina Azcona in her Message of encouragement, enlighten and clarifies us: Peace is possible worldwide if it begins by educating children of all cultures in this sense. The destruction of human lives has many and complex origins at all levels of society, and its common denominator is the lack of an education in values in which the defense of life as an essential value prevails. Our task and our life mission in the Forum for Literature and Culture of Peace (IFLAC) is none other than educating the community permanently in the values of world peace.
By assuming the great responsibility as Director of IFLAC in Peru. Honorary Delegate and Ambassador of Peace of IFLAC in Peru, I have been coordinating and inviting personalities from the different regions of my country, who join together to build a great network of solidarity, brotherhood, work, with painters, musicians, actors, declaimers, dancers, journalists, teachers, writers.
